I really don’t understand why they took wheelwr out? I know they got 2 dudes with filth they can trust but why not save them? Or maybe they thinking they can roll wheeler back out on 3 days rest if they pull him? I dunno, think I woulda let him finish this game, nobody was getting to him, even tho a few were hit hit hard last 2 innings.

Shoulda known your boy Snell. We might be bumping heads! I trust Nola way more thsn Snell but I have lot of work to do, Snell k’s prob a must.

Have always thought of him as a #3 type at best, helps I get the Pads off this performance to boot

Nothing he does is spectacular enough to get line treatment the way he does. Certainly wouldn't play his outs total

I think you see him as an ace and I seem him as a good middle rotation guy. Not overly difficult to hit. I don't care who the other starter is, if you say it's Snell that's news to me but I don't hate that. Can't see SD going down 0-2 to that guy.

I don’t think pads will go down 0-2 but Man I hate trusting Snell. My score app says Snell.

Nola last 3 games, 19.1 innings, 21 k’s, 3 walks, 11 hits, 1 unearned run. That was the playoff clinching game vs Stros, close out game vs cards, to go up 2-1 on atl, bro he is light years better than any 3 you can name. If you wanna have a discussion whesther he a ace or a top line 2 I’ll talk bout that. Saying he a 3 is just flat out wrong.

He maybe shoulda took the money from nats. Betting on himself isn’t working out so well! I mean he still get the bag, it might be little lighter tho. He certainly ain’t playing his way into a bigger deal!

I can’t believe the strike ump just gave Snell when he didn’t give Nola strike 3 on Grisham which was in the dot or centimeter off, Snell was 3 inches off.

Hard to imagine this yankees team beating the astros 4 out of 5. Gonna pull out all the stops to win game 2 no matter how much it hurts for games 3 or 4.

Those who like to chase, every Astros starter should be played on their over ks. Doubt it would get past a second game with this free swinging bunch.

They just confirmed that Marquez is the alternate ump so he won't show up on the stat sheet tonight

He'll be behind the plate in G3 and is one of the more scoring favorable umps, something to keep in mind

Hell yea. Valdez got his 5 k’s, Mfer shoulda got those dudes he had 0-2 when guys were on 3rd. Oh well, still got lead.
