Two different angles to consider.

The last 4 times TCU beat Texas, they lost the following week.

2020 beat Texas as +10.5 dog, 2019 beat Texas as +1 dog, 2017 beat Texas as -7 favorite, 2016 beat Texas as +3 dog - they followed each of those games up with losses, 2020 -9 at K St lost by 7, 2019 +3 at Ok St lost by 7, 2017 +6.5 at Ok lost by 18, 2016 -3.5 lost vs K St by 24

The counter to this angle is 2014 & 2015 when TCU finished 12-1 and 11-2, in those years when they beat Texas (they were favored both times by 6.5 and 14.5) in these years they followed up the Texas wins with a win the following week as well.
The TCU thing is strange since they've beaten UT 7 of the last 9. It's nothing new.

Looks to me like Army, Baylor, and UCLA are the three most picked teams among all public handicappers.

And it looks like most of those picking Baylor this week also picked Texas last week

Three Ok Sts and three KU's on the ML pickers
What are you thinking on Okla State, s--k? I know Sanders is starting for Oklahoma State so I have the same question 2daBank had--why is Oklahoma laying more than a TD against anyone?

I usually bet best D, but in this game it is the worst two defenses of any match up on the schedule this week.

The last time Sanders played extended action was the Kansas State shut out game right? I think the Ok St D and their recent games is the reason why OU line is what it is. I know you say the OU D is bad and results of various games confirms it.

It took 5 ISU turnovers last week for Ok St to pull that out. Somewhere, this Ok St team kind of got lost. Sanders in the lineup I think is a rallying point, but is he limited at all I wonder?

I am taking the +pts, but am suspicious of the Pokes

I had a single 50 on TCU last week, but lost 4x that on Baylor vs K St. I am going on Baylor this week. I actually wish it wasn't TCU, I wish Baylor was playing someone else. I like bouncebacks for good teams after embarrassing losses, especially at home. Debate if Baylor is good or not, but this is a big game I think for Baylor to prove to themselves and their home fans who saw the game last week that they aren't that bad. TCU does struggle post Texas the last several years. I have bet against TCU a couple times this year, but don't make a habit of it. The fact I was on them small last week actually makes me feel better going against them this week. Nothing worse than continually expecting a team to fail and they just keep proving you wrong.

Let's face it. Last week was a lookahead to TCU. I think the loss is a reason to play Baylor.

I'm just pissed that my book didn't offer a moneyline on UMass. I would have been all over it. Best I could get was +24.5 +194.

I hadn't paid any attention to that game till this morning just before kickoff when I heard that the line was more than aTm has scored in any game this year. I would have bet it just for that reason, but no way I could get down before kickoff

Your book may have done you a favor by refusing ML.
