I will just post in here.

I'm a sucker for these heavyweight unders. They use to kill it for me, but guys are more tentative. Glass jaw though so u1.5 Arlovksi/Overeem

Tumenov/Nelson is interesting. I could see a KO or a Nelson grappling display.

Lean to Wade, but looking more into it.

Gates sucks, may fade him.

Still looking into it.

Wade was one of the first that popped out at me... tough to pass on him at that price, and think he matches up decently vs the Russian Sambo style of fighting.

How is Big Foot still fighting? He's horrible.

yeah Struve may knock Big Foot into retirement at 36.... last six losses have come by way of tko/ko in the first round, albeit against some bad mofos (Cormier, Cain twice, AA, Mir, Hunt). Now he's bout to face a seven-footer who has a 4.5-inch reach adv (longest reach in the UFC at 84.5) on him. GL with that

hard to believe Struve is only 28... made his UFC debut vs JDS a few days past his 21st bday back in Feb '09

Reem basically begged Dana to fight AA, who is/was a teammate of his at Jackson Wink, and went behind the gym's back to do it. Kinda comes off like Reem measured up AA in training and is very confident that he can destroy him. Jackson Wink will be cornering AA, and everyone interviewed from that camp appears to be sincerely pissed off at Reem. They were bound to cross paths sooner or later in such a small division, but AA seemed to want no part of this fight initially. Reem wants to return to Jackson Wink after the fight, but AA went on record to say he does not want to be his teammate again.

Going to ride the Reem momentum here, and hope whatever Reem was seeing in the gym training with AA, comes to fruition in the octagon.

Overeem by TKO/KO -118 1*

Rockhold bloodied up and embarassed Weidman last time they fought. I think Weidman learns from his mistakes and gets focused and is a nice pick to redeem himself at +165 odds.

That fight was brutal to watch, and Weidman is lucky to not have suffered severe head trauma in that one (I'm sure he'll suffer the consequences from that one down the road). I was yelling at his father through my screen to throw in the fucking white towel on a couple different occasions.

I realize that the majority of fighters have this mindset, but Weidman has been been pretty vocal about the way he's going to avenge his loss...

"There's no question in my mind that I'm gonna go out there and make a statement, completely dominate him and make sure everybody knows the last fight was a fluke."

GL Cog

I had Rockhold last time, but will probably just watch this time. These are two guys I love to watch fight and the last fight exceeded my expectations. I just think Luke is the more well rounded fighter. No fighter comes in 100%, but he was completely gassed and still had the fighter mentality to keep going and finish Weidman.

Didn't Weidman claim to only be at like 10 to 20%? lol. I'll have to re-watch the fight again, but recall there being a turning point during the fight where Weidman did something pretty fucking stupid and got utterly dominated from that point forward. Maybe you could refresh my memory on what Weidman did, Dollaz.

Like this vid. Rockhold seems confidant, as he should be. He won handily. But I think Weidman is going to come out on top. Nothing like a big L to motivate you and get you back.

Weidman tried that wheel kick. I don't trust any fighters though, all of them say they were only x% when they lose.

I view it differently though (assuming neither one had a major injury disadvantage): My notes from fight:

Round 1-Weidman controls much of the ground game, but Rockhold shows maturity and is able to get out of it (Luke is far superior in BJJ, Weidman obv in wrestling) Not a whole lot goes on here. Rockhold does start to show a nasty kicking game and counters a takedown with a pretty sick guillotine. Weidman wins round just from being on top. Rockhold tired already.

Round 2: Rockhold drops weidman with a right hook. Weidman clearly rocked. Kicks from Rockhold punish Weidman. The difference in power between the 2 fighters is big. Rockhold hurts Weidman when he connects. Rock stuffs a couple takedowns. Clear Rockhold round.

Round 3: Weidman gets takedown. Rockhold looks gassed. Rockhold gets up. Rockhold takes Weidman down. Dominates 10-8 Rockhold.

Round 4: Rockhold takes Weidman down. Gets mount. Ends it.

Overall, Weidman was not winning the fight when the attempted wheel kick happens. Both guys seemed to get gassed. Weidman won round 1 just from "being on top," but the Rockhold kicks had a lasting impact on Weidman. Rockhold schooled Weidman on the ground and dominated him on the feet. Did Weidman look bad because of injury or because he had no answer for the power or Rockhold?

How does Weidman win the rematch? Takedowns and control for 5 rounds? Can he do that to a stronger Rockhold that is much better at BJJ?

Ah yes, the wheel kick, that's right. I was three sheets to the wind that night; thanks for refreshing my memory - good stuff. I personally think Rock wins the rematch as well, but aint laying that price, so I'll be on the sidelines with ya, Dollaz. I can also understand where Cog is coming from feeling like there's some value here as well at the current number. Looking forward to this one.

Cody "No Love" Garbrandt vs Almeida should be an awesome fight. Two rising stars in the 135 division. Cody throws some of the best hands I've seen at any weight class thanks to his amateur boxing background. You don't see too many fighters with both wrestling and boxing backgrounds like Cody. And of course, Almeida is a bad ass as well via his Muay Thai striking... 21-0 (4-0 in UFC), 19 finishes - 16 by KO/TKO. Somebody is getting knocked out.

Why the hell is Rory vs Wonderboy headlining a Fight Night card? If I had to pick one fight out of any these to watch, that would be it.

Man lost in all these cards is Nate Diaz fighting again. Cause of Conor's ego, he doesn't have a fight. What I'd love to see is Nate fight Khabib at 200 if possible. Khabib just fought last month but so did Bones so timing wise it shouldn't be a problem. Khabib is a beast. The eagle IMO would beat Diaz. Injuries derailed him a little but he looks to be back. The eagle has landed!

Also they had that fight between their crews in Vegas. So you know they hate each other already. Would be entertaining, the build up, then the fight. But I'm sure Nate wants Conor again because that's where the $$$ will be at.

I don't think Khabib would finish Nate, but he would toss him around like a rag doll for 3 to 5 rounds. Sounds like Conor/Nate 2 is in the works for 202 in August, Cog. Conor is obsessed with avenging his loss, and Nate has made it pretty clear he aint fighting anyone but Conor if he should fight again lol. Khabib has a one track mind right now and that is fighting for the title in his next bout. He will likely face the winner of RDA/Alvarez in the Fall, so a rematch with RDA looms.

Tony Ferguson vs Michael Chiesa to headline Fight Night 91 on July 13. Can't wait for that one.

Lawler-Woodley hasn't been confirmed yet for 201, thankfully. Hell, I'd rather see fucking Magny get the title shot over Woodley. Lawler shouldn't have any trouble disposing of a man who hasn't fought in a year and a half, so Lawler vs the Wonderboy/Rory winner appears likely to follow. We either get to see the Lawler/Rory trilogy (#2 was greatest fight of all time imo), or we witness Wonderboy become a bona fide superstar should he beat Rory and Lawler back to back to earn the welterweight title. Can't go wrong either way imo. If Lawler loses to Woodley or a potential fight with Rory/Wonderboy, Dana always has that Nick Diaz/Lawler rematch from a decade ago $$$ card in his back pocket that the fans would love to see should Lawler be interested in a $ fight instead of fighting for the belt again.

Speaking of Nick Diaz, will he return to fight at welterweight or middleweight?

Stylistically, I'd like to see Magny vs Condit (if he returns) and Hendricks vs Maia should Maia and Hendricks win their upcoming fights. Still in awe over the way Maia dominated Gunni.

Man I felt so bad for Rory watching it that day, I wanted it to just end. His nose was so busted, man.

Cringeworthy shit for sure. That fight put him out for a good while. Rory said he felt like he didn't go out on his sword in that one lol. What else would you expect from the world's best dressed serial killer?

Emmett should win but it's too bad his finger got fucked up. He could've got a unanimous decision. Probably a split decision now.

good call on the split decision win. man, he's lucky the ref didn't see it; bone was sticking right out... yikes

This dude's corner is fucking annoying. Every other word is "yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" haha.
