Is Otto one these guys who little better than the numbers suggest? He has pitched against 3 really good offenses this month and has pitched really well in those games,,5 innings 2 runs In yanks band box, 6 innings 2 runs against Stros. Then 5 solid innings last night. Yes he got crushed by Red Sox in middle of that but we talking bout a guy who was getting better than +150 in all 3 those starts and rangers won 2 of those 3!! Oddly enough he was even money in his worst performace against Boston! Lol.

I do think Otto has a lot of upside, yes he will have that one bad inning here & there but he’s not a sulker

i feel like the k's been getting worse since i mentioned they dont strike out as much this season! lol.. not sure if that just perception/ive just happened to see the higher strikeout games or it been trending that direction overall? in their defense it been against pretty good pitchers where ive noticed it but i had no hesitation to play Montas k prop over last night which hadnt been something i was looking to do vs them a few weeks back..

Started to book an eye exam last night when I saw the Rangers favored over the Rays for today.

I did not believe we'd have a shot at being a .500 club at the end of May.

Love the way Eli is playing this season.

Love the way Eli is playing this season.
I’m not getting my hopes up to high just yet
all of a sudden the team has some “fresh air” Josh Smith could be a major piece to this team
Eli is a streaky player but a very solid one
is .500 possible could be, let’s see how June treats us

My daughter as she breezed through the man cave today in the 11th:

"How's Texas doing today dad?"

Me:

"The usual sweetie...they're just blowing a lead and two outfielders just ran into each other while missing a fly ball and my favorite player probably broke his collarbone."

Gray was pretty awesome tho, granted anyone throwing from the right side should have a field day vs cws right now!

Cashed Javier yesterday. Urquidy number is only 4.5, he doesn’t consistently strike out as many as Javier but he capable and has great history vs your squad.

Nice comeback by ya’ll.

You have any kinda decent feel for what dunning will look like? He a tough pitcher for me to cap.

Dunning gets the ball tonight

he pitched well on 5/29 and 6/3 but wasn’t good in his last start 6/8 vs Clev gave up 9 hits and 4 earned runs over 4.0 innings

Yea. He a tough guy for me to figure out. He will look like shit for couple starts but then turn around and shit on the Yankees for 6 innings! His peripherals way better than surface stats or record say he is., he gets a ton of ground balls but does get barreled up more than ya would like. His swing and miss and punch out numbers really good for a guy that not throwing all that hard. Just seems like for anything good I find with him I can throw out some bad or vice versa and really havnt found any kind of great indicators to tip off as to when he be good or bad! He does seem to be way better pitching on 4 days rest than 5, that bout only 1 and he is pitching on 5 days rest tonight. Not great history vs houston either. Feel like Stros might be a little cheap tonight but they are in a bit a slide at moment.
