2021 Texas Rangers - Entire Season

I guess the team didn’t want to play two so they didn’t show up for GM1 and we get shut out 5-0
we mustered only three hits
Allard threw 5.1 innings allowing 7 hits 5 runs all earned walked 1 struck out 1 and gave up a solo HR our record now stands at 35-57

Kiner-Falefa, Lowe and Gallo all got one hit

we struck out four times, went 0-6 with RISP and left 4 on base

on a positive note game only took 1 hour and 48 minutes

Foltynewicz takes the ball for GM2 and as I write this has given up six runs in bottom of the first
100 losses is now in our future

I’m just about speechless, only thing in our favor today was luckily both games were only 7 innings
we got shutout again, but this time 10-0
our record now stands at 35-58

Foltynewicz “pitched” 1.2 innings allowing 8 hits 10 runs all of them earned walked 2 struck out none and gave up 4 HR’s one of them a grand slam by Gurriel Jr
he has given up 28 HR’s this season the most in all of MLB
Folty is a good guy but it’s now time to DFA him and let our kiddiestake over
this season is over, for quite some time now

our entire team should be ashamed of how they just rolled over today, in the three game series vs Blue Jays we were out scored 25-2

Gallo 0-3 .235
White 0-3 .193
Garcia 0-3 .263
Kiner-Falefa 1-3 .258

struck out four times went 0-4 with RISP and left 3 on base

most ownership groups would say after today massive changes must be made immediately
this means Woody needs to go, yes he’s a nice guy but the team doesn’t respond to him
it’s not all his fault but someone has to be sacrificed
Daniels is our main problem but he’s never going anywhere

I’ve endured long seasons with this team before but after watching these three games this is rock bottom
blow this entire team up, trade everyone and let’s start from ground zero

I didn’t think things could get worse for this team but tonight we were shut out again and this time by the Tigers
final score was 14-0 we are now 35-59 and losers of six in a row
Gibson went 5.0 innings giving up ten hits 8 runs all of them earned walked 2 struck out 2 and gave up a two run HR

In our last 4 games we’ve been out scored 39-2
almost unheard of
we haven’t scored a run in 23 innings
Holt,Garcia,Kiner-Falefa and Dahl all had one hit
Gallo 0-3 .233

we struck out 10 times went 0-5 with RISP and left 5 on base

Dunning takes to the hill tomorrow night

Woodward must be fired this week

It’s been a rough go. I used to enjoy em they were not good but scrappy

This thread reads like a depressing poem

One of my faves on the site. And GL on the base paths brother
twinkie13:

I can’t sugar coat my feelings so I just let it rip
everyone knew this year would suck but we now have very well paid professional athletes just going through the motions
the clubhouse is in disarray and has become toxic
Woody is a good guy but he must go even if it’s just for perception
the fans are getting fed up and they won’t come out to see a shit product no matter how nice our stadium is
a few players are still trying, it’s now time to play our kids and hopefully build a decent future
I’m highly doubtful this will happen

I don't see it getting better anytime soon. According to MLB.com, we have the 21st ranked farm system in baseball. Considering we haven't made the playoffs in five years, you would think we would at least be in the top half of those rankings. Jon Daniels is the problem and must go. This organization has been on a downward trajectory ever since him and Nolan Ryan had their beef.

hey we scored one run, yes one but we gave up four and lost our seventh in a row
final score was 4-1 our record now stands at 35-60
Dunning went 4.2 innings gave up four hits three runs all of them earned walked on struck out two and gave up two HR’s

we have played five games since the all star game and have only 20 hits
last night we had 4 hits

White,Garcia and Lowe got our other three hits
Gallo 0-3 now at .230
Kiner-Falefa 0-4 .256

Lyles takes to the mound tonight

no need to rant anymore, losing 100 is a given

just dropped our eighth in a row, final score was 4-2 we are now 35-61
we’ve scored 5 runs since the all star break which spans over six games and have 25 hits over these six games

Hicks 1-4 drove in 1
Dahl 1-3 drove in 1
Gallo 1-4 .231
Holt 0-4 .205
White 0-3 .187
Solak 0-3 .225

struck out 6 times went 1-7 with RISP and left 6 on base

for some reason Foltynewicz gets the ball tomorrow, I’ll say he’ll give up minimum 2 HR’s
our drive to 100losses goes on

we are in Houston this weekend

our losing streak is now at nine, Foltynewicz gave up three HR’s as we lost 7-5 our record is now 35-62
Foltynewicz went 4.0 innings gave up 5 hits 6 runs 5 of those earned walked 2 struck out 4

struck out 10 went 3-7 with RISP and left 9 on base

off to Houston for the weekend

final score was 7-2 our record now stands at 35-63
still haven’t won since before the all star break

Gallo 0-3 now at .226 he’s 1-16 since this past monday

Kiner-Falefa 2-4 drove in 1

our strikeouts are rising as well last night 11 times went 2-4 with RISP and left 6 on base

Gibson gets the ball tonight and this WILL be his last start as a Ranger

most shocking comment from woody after the game was he liked “the teams fight”
Huh????? ten losses in a row and no sign of hope anywhere

we called up Curtis Terry and he went 0-4 as our DH so he fits in perfectly
Curtis is our 26th prospect per mlb pipeline

lost again our 11th in a row, final score was 4-1 our record now stands at 35-64
Gibson was ok throwing 6.0 allowing four hits three runs two of them earned walked eight and struck out four didn’t allow a HR
Sborz did give up one HR

we only mustered two hits
Ibanez went 1-2 hitting his 2nd HR a solo shot
Kiner-Falefa 1-4
White 0-3 .181 not sure why they’re having him struggle almost daily
Garcia 0-3 down to .257
Terry 0-4 again now 0-8 since his call up
Gallo was given the night off he’s tired of making outs

Hearn takes the ball this afternoon, thankfully we are off tomorrow and then the D’Backs come to town
will be very interesting the fans reaction with what’s going on with the team

Woody said he was proud of our “game plan” I guess he thinks getting two hits is fine
must be nice to not have a fear of getting fired even though your team has totally given up

we actually had the lead heading into bottom of the fifth, we were up 1-0 then we promptly gave up two and lost our 12th in a row
final score 3-1our record now stands at 35-65

Gallo 0-4 down to .222

we struck out 7 times went 0-6 with RISP and left 6 on base

Holt and Woody were thrown out after words with home plate ump

off until Tuesday, can’t wait to hear from the few fans who attend the game
it’s not going to be pretty at all

we scored five in the bottom of the fourth and then we hold on to win, yes win 5-4 our record now stands at 36-65
Dunning threw 6.1 innings gave up six hits two runs both of them earned walked two struck out three and didn’t give up a HR
in fact our four other pitchers didn’t give up a HR

Gallo hit his 25th a three run shot going 1-4 batting .223
Lowe went 2-3 driving in two
we only managed six hits the entire game

struck out six times went 2-9 with RISP and left 8 on base

Lyles gets the ball tonight, while it was nice to get a win we were luckily playing the D’Backs any other team would have beaten us tonight

lots of Joey getting traded talk, I hope he goes but there’s bigger talk of an extension instead

we struck out 8 times went 1-7 with RISP and left 6 on base

the dust has now settled on the Gallo trade, he won’t all of a sudden bat .275 or higher
he is what he is all or nothing hitter but a quality defensive out fielder
I’ll track his stats in this thread
