What do you think KingKrunked?

I'd have to go with the better/more experienced QB in Weatherford. He's got a full season under his belt now, and these games always seem to be close. :shake:

Hold up wait a minute. More Experienced would be Kyle wright.. Weatherford started sharing time last year.

And as far as more talented.. I think you have that wrong as well..
http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?ra_key=189&Year=2003

Check who was the top recruit comin out of hs. This kid has far more tools to be a great qb than Drew. The reason he hasnt been as productive is becuz of miamis OL. But i have to disagree big time with your comments of better and more experienced..

Also last year Kyle had 18 /10 Drew had 18/18 not sure how you are rushing to judgement. Kyle is a junior as well.. so he has far more experience.

BTW where is your system plays i use to follow those in covers.

abcs - I understand that Wright is a Junior, and that he may have been recruited more heavily than Weatherford. But, being listed as a top prospect and playing like one are two totally different things. That list you provided was from 2003. Do you think Kyle Wright would be listed ahead of Brady Quinn at this point?

I've been talking all week with my friend about this game...he's a FSU alum, so he's built me up on Weatherford. Having said that, I was wrong about Weatherford being more experienced, and more efficient. Thanks for setting me straight with those facts. :shake:

BTW...great start to the NCAAF season.

Weatherford is horrible. Free Shoes ought to be embarrased by their QB play for the last 6 years.

I've heard rumblings about the U and their lack of skill players at certain positions....

....when was the last time Free Shoes University had anybody worth a damn at QB/RB/WR/TE???? Anquan Boldin is all I can think of.

I've been wrong before, but this gamer is going to get ugly tonight. UM wins by DD's.

UM 20
FSU 7

Weatherford went on to become the first freshman to lead the ACC in total offense and topped all first-year players nationally in passing yards (3,208) and touchdown passes (18).

just woke up (i know i'm a bum)...need to shake the cob webs out of my brain before i type up my logic behind the play; couldnt sleep real well so i thought it up last night in bed (yeah im a douche)....brb

btw, the play has NOTHING to do w/ how i feel for either team...its pretty much how i capped games last cbb season....

Weatherford started the year off great last year.. check his numbers then BLEW UP (IMPLODED).. not sure how good the kid can be but i like him more than lee.

.-=Tell System=-.

this game is a pick 'em. vegas knows more about this game and what SHOULD happen than any of you guys; its the truth. if you guys disagree with this, i will fight you. i will drop you to your knees and find a Yaggo wack off while you give me head; vegas knows what they're doing here.
the points are being given up by mia simply for home field, and in this case, do to the huge atmosphere, -3, -3.5, or even -4 can be given here.
as far as the public is concerned, diff sites show diff things, and ill conclude w/ a 50/50 split (its close enough)...also the poll i posted has many of us here torn between both teams as well.
besides a few exceptions, recent trends show the home team in their first games having a huge advantage (more than the standard -3, or -4 given by vegas.) now, if this fact was taken into account in the line, fsu is actually favored on paper. fact.
there SHOULD be no huge gap on the scoreboard in this game; its televised, both teams are looking for the win; and they both can (depends which way the ball will bounce tonight.) so the conclusion on the side is that mia having homefield will give them enough edge to pull out a home win (but by how much?)

now for the total. after a weekened of huge blowouts by ranked teams we have 2 ranked teams here. there shouldnt be any blowouts here. the public is very slightly leaning toward the over, but thus far this season, vegas has been lightning in a bottle for the total, and if you're going to play this one expect a nail biter in the 4th q. my main concern taking the under here, is the strong possibility of OT. yet, my concerns tend to wash away when i remember that these teams know what they're doing, and will do everything to win; the odds of OT are slimmer than most games here, imo.

playing:

mia -3 (bought hooker)

teaser:
fsu +10.5/ UNDER 45.5

i dont see a blowout, hence the fsu in my teaser, and i see a close game, both in the upper teens or one in the lower twenties for the under.

i'm also going to be playing the 2h and might give a go at some live in game!

good luck everybody!

one more thing...i really dont want dabestbody to lose 150* on 2 plays this season, so i'll have a reason to root for his play now!

refresh my memory..but the Orange Bowl is not that great for crowd support wont the Crowd be more 50-50 with Noles fans buying up tickets

just talked to my boy whos a huge fsu fan (never even been to florida) and he loves fsu tonight s/u....he also likes the over....fuck

Justin Zwick was one of the top QBs in the nation in high school. He was way ahead of Troy Smith when they came out - look where they are now.....

I know but usually those things are pretty accurate. I realize they arent always 100% but i was just saying Kyle Wright has talent and lots of it. :shake: Just need the OL to protect him

Hey get at me on aim

WeatherFord is not horrible, Why would you say that?

u forgot to state that he also threw 18 int's to go along with the 18 TD's.

when your team cannot run the football you tend to have to throw it alot too, hence the 3,000 yds.
