Why is the line so low in Orlando? Charlotte even got a higher line against them...

I am leaning towards Orlando. Does anyone know the status of Thornton for the Hornets? Stojakavic has been hitting his threes lately. That will not last much longer. Maybe tonight it will end. I just think the Hornets have been playing well and are due for a letdown. They have not necessarily been winning but have been playing games close. I don't feel it is that big of a letdown spot for the Magic. They have beaten the Celtics twice in the last few weeks. It is not what it used to be. If I play anything is this game it will be the Magic.

I like the Warriors tonight. The points and the moneyline. I will most likely be on the Lakers as well.

I know Jackson gave them Saturday off. My gut feeling is that Kobe plays, but I have not heard anything concrete yet. Bynum is doubtful, but that does not really matter.

I like Golden State at 5 or higher. NO played great against Charlotte and decently against OKC and Phoenix at home last week. I kinda lean their way myself.

Well last night i almost played NO at plus 7.5 which I thought might be high. Today I see the move. One refs concerns me regarding a ml play so I will look a while longer.

Warriors for sure....their ATS record is good and theyve been playing hard for Donny. Good spot in the middle of a homestand w/ rest on each side. and........Dallas sucks ATS.

Not sure. See Tuesday and Wednesday as fairly active and Thursday slow with more TNT and then the ALL Star break I suppose. Might have something to do with the day after the Super Bowl. Could be they think people are ready to rest from extended sports watching?

Think Gandalf has an expression about only being able to trade whats in front of you.
This is Hornets getting more than 8
Today the Hornets and the whole city of New Orleans are supercharged by that Super Bowl win. They had lost 3 in a road su and ATS and now they have won and covered 1 game with TWO more till the start of the All Star break. Today Orlando is playing third in 4 against a team they are 6-4 last 10 against where generally the dog has done well and they have 1 day off after this game and then they play consecutive games against Eastern teams they have lost to before the break and i remind you Orlando has been about even money ATS against the West usually doing best against weaker teams or with lower spreads at home. Looking at line moves saw most indicating this upward move is public but also saw 2 spikes at Logans and I think Sportbook that concern me some and see a so so ref spot but the clear majority of this info points to the Hornets and I do not mind today's match ups at all. Also interested in the under but a little reluctant. Think most input from refs, history, and days of the week and of course that chart on Orlando as an over 8 favorite point to it. Have made a moderate bet on Hornets at 9.5 and still looking at the total. |

Well tuck. I made the line range -6 to -7. I did not adjust for Kobe not playing but its their last home game till the All Star Break is over. Plus the Lakers are just so tough at home and when you get a low line like this even if Kobe is out you have to almost give it a try. The Lakers are loaded and have plenty of playmakers to cover this without him. Got a feeling Kobe gives it a go tonight even if he is limited. Also the Lakers will always be a public play no matter what so you can't even look at that. I will think about it for a while but leaning hard that way. I would take the Hornets but no way in hell I touch it. A lot of the Saints players are close to the Hornets players. Saints players are always at their games courtside. Hell some of them ride on the plane with them on road games. I know this one they won't be there but still. You got to think the Hornets partied last night and texting with players from the Saints. Hell I wouldn't even touch La Tech in College hoops.

lakers are probably better at this point without kobe on the floor. his numerous current handicaps combined with his lack of a conscience equals a terrible combination.
he takes as many shots per game as monta does. that is simply crazy and quite obviously one of the biggest issues for them going forward. there is no excuse for shooting that many times a game when the team has 2 post players of the quality of pau and bynum |

It qualifies as something but do not think GS and Dallas can ever get away from themselves and their past. Hornets seem very popular at covers
. Still a line about a stopped clock may apply.
