Last year, the SEC implemented a rule that schools in their conference could not have more than 28 players sign letters of intent in a given recruiting class.

However, high school and prep school players who enroll in January don't count towards that 28 number because they don't sign letters of intent. Therefore, Carolina will be able to take more than 28 in this class, provided they have some early enrollees who aren't from the JUCO ranks.

i will strongly stick by my previous statements that clowney should play with his hand on the ground every play he is on the field. He is not the same player standing up and jesus, he is a monster physically and if you watched the game and saw his father, he is going to get a lot bigger. it'll be painful to watch him play for the tide, real painful but if he qualifies and keeps his head on straight, he is going to be something special on the field.

The job Pelini is doing and what seems like a good recruiting class coming in is really making me nervous for their move to the Big 10. They could be dominant for the next few years and challenge tOSU for the next decade if they keep up at this pace.
