Round 2: More Snow Coming

Here we go again.

Another storm -- possibly another crippling storm -- is headed our way and it could dump another foot of snow, possibly more than 18 inches in some areas.

The snowfall starts late Tuesday and continues all the way through Wednesday, according to NBC10 Meteorologist Bill Henley.

It will end late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

This time around, areas north of the city may get more snow than during Saturday's record-setting storm.

On Monday, schools were closed in Philadelphia and there were hundreds of other schools closings and delays.

Mass transit was up and running for morning commuters.

In Delaware, getting around was still expected to be a real challenge.

"We're hoping that most employers let their people work form home or let them stay home," Jim Westoff told The News Journal.

And in South Jersey, more than 40,000 people were still without power, although that's a lot better than the 90,000 who had power outages from Saturday's snowstorm.

Shelters are open where people can keep warm and get fed.

"I've never seen anything of this magnitude," Frank Atkins told the Press of Atlantic City. Frank is 93.

We're getting 6-12 inches tonight and tomorrow in Chicago. People can't drive here when it's cloudy and perfect conditions, can't imagine how bad it will be here.

i actually dont mind the snow all that much

the shoveling isnt terrible and if it gets me out of going to work, who am i to complain about that?

Only thing that sucks is drying the dog off when he comes back in from his walks and hes got snow stuck to him that pretty much only comes off with a warm foot bath

Cloudy; Snow (mixing with rain below 3000', maybe some sleet below 3500'); Turning sharply colder at night; SE wind 5-10 mph becoming WNW 20-30 mph with gusts to 55 mph after midnight

Wednesday

Hi: 18 Lo: 11

Cloudy, big wind & cold; Snow showers & snow squalls; NW wind 20-30 mph with gusts to 55 mph becoming 30-40 mph at night with gusts to 70 mph

Thursday

Hi: 26 Lo: 17

Early flurries; Then partly cloudy; Blustery and Cold

Friday

Hi: 29 Lo: 18

Sunny with some high clouds increasing; Watching the Gulf

logistically philadelphia or dc is built to handle this snow. in manayunk there is just literally no where to move 2+ feet of snow.
