Stars vs FTP vs Other

i just joined stars for a change of scenery. they dont have rush so im wont be playing there much, but all i can say is this site f'n sucks for sngs and ring games. im going right back to ftp

is it always so slow? ive been playing sngs and they seem to take 2 hours each. every play seems to take players like a full minute to make a decision. i know its not rush poker, but even regular speed poker seems to be 10x faster at FTP.

however, what i wanted to get with this thread is:

Stars vs FTP vs Cake vs others

what are the benefit/disadvantages of each

for starters:

Stars- bad: very slow, no rush poker good: doesnt seem like someone has a monster every hand like at FTP, double or nothing tourneys, sunday million is a very good tournament

FTP- IMO best overall, fast, good quality negatives: seems like on ftp someone ALWAYS has the one card that can beat you, even if it would have meant he called completely ridiculous bets along the way to get there

Cake/Other: just joined cake but dont play any others yet.

Ill tell you one big one is that FT and Stars have the best players in the world playing there....Even at lower stakes the games are harder to beat than cake netowrk.

Another big thing is rakeback, this is a must to poker players. FT offers 27% rakeback, Stars has player points, but I guess its pretty good if you make supernova, cake offers 33% rakeback.

My experience so far is as follows:
I like Tilt the best as far as software and the games fill easily especially for sngs, but the players are a lot better.

Cake software is average at best, but the players are not as skilled, I make most of my money at cake, and the rakeback is the best, goes into my account every Friday morning.

I havent played at stars in quite some time, I love their software, but dont like that you dont get rakeback.....

If your a good player, play at cake and take down more money imo and has a better rakeback deal. They are suppose to direct deposit the withdraws within 3 days too, I havent withdrew yet, but will keep this thread updated as I plan to withdraw a decent amount before I go to vegas in March.

FT withdraws awesome, same with stars.

yeah FTP easily has the best software but their customer service is a little weak since you have to deal with emails only. Stars software i don't really care for but its nice having the instant customer service. I only played on cake for a couple of tournaments but I made deep runs in most if not all of them. the player pool was definitely a lot weaker.

Just to add to cake network customer service:
Doyles room-
They have the live chat option which I love, They talked me through getting all the necessary info I needed so withdrawls are easy. AAA+++ customer service.

the games at cake are much easier but the software is horrible in my oppinion.... stars is avg... ftp the best... im actually gonna put some $ in UB this week too since they have rakeback and a 111% signup bonus up to 1k

Guys I promise you right now, if you know PLO a little bit you will be super profitable at cake.....These players are fkn clueless. Call it a heater, call it luck, I like to think its has something to do with skill, but I have made over 16k this month at doyles room playing plo. Mainly 1/2, 2/4, 3/6 and 5/10.....Most of my profits came from the 2/4, 3/6 games. I just played for 45 minutes and made 1400. (consider it a brag), but I am so convinced that cake network is the softest out there. I think I could tolerate the software for returns like this. I am playing the same players for the mostpart and are pretty easy to read and I know who I can make moves on, most of them play scared. Just think you guys should give it a try.

Also Doyles has the gold stacks reward program, not surfe if its all cake network or not, but once you get to the 10th gold stack, you start earning real money to your account once you clear it. Once you get to the 50th level you make 173 bucks everytime you get 50 chips......But you start getting money back at the 10th level, I am at level 9 now. If you play daily you will have no problem meeting this.

I hear ya, software sucks bro, but I think the returns may just be too good to pass up.....Maybe they will throw more money into software in the future. This is my second strong run now at cake. I won a bounty tourney 2 yrs ago and ran my account to 8k, then thought I was this shit and tried playing 5/10 nlhe and just got ran over. I dont plan on that happening again as I feel I am in a different spot than before.

Just a thing on doyles payouts-
I had to use seperate payouts to get what I wanted out-
Echecks directly into account 1k max-You have to pay 3%, so 1030-to get 1k.

Also they have fed ex checks for 50 bux, max is $2500......So if you didnt mind waiting a little longer, checks are better way to go, if you dont want to deal with the BS at banks and questions, direct deposit works best.

Personally, I like the direct deposit option best, took 5 days to go into account. I am not pulling much money out of my account tho, just what I need to play in vegas.
