Torrey Pines And Dubai...

Tiger paired with Tony and X.

That is a nice, fun pairing.

Rory at Torrey is gonna be weird.

Rahm should be right there this week, solid last week in defense of his title.

Woodland recovered yet?

Real fun field here this week...

Took last week off a pretty terrible start. Looking forward to watching some of this one with limited other sports going on

Snedeker EV vs Keegan
Leishman +105 vs Rory
Xander -105 vs Rickie
Rahm -115 vs Rose

Fading the two guys making equipment changes. Also like the history of Sneds and Leish here, and Leishman in particular playing well recently

I really like your plays overall.

Leish against Rory and X vs Rickie seem like GREAT plays.

So true about Sneds and like I said Rahm should be in good form again.

Good luck.

Farmers tourney match up plays:

Noren -105 vs Spieth
Berger -130 vs Horschel
Usually don't fade two guys in the same grouping but just feel like these two aren't ready yet. Noren played well here last year and has been solid of late. Expecting a nice turnaround year for Berger now that he is healthy. Good luck if you decide to follow...
YTD 1-0 +1.00

Fading Spieth seems like a good play for right now. He sounds like he's lost out there, not sure that Torrey is the place to find it. Pretty telling that CH3 is more of a favorite to win than Spieth

Finau -130 v Fowler
Fowler using new ball. Very tough. In Fowler’s own words, this is the biggest change in equipment u can make
And Finau is better player
And Finau history is much better than Ricky who has MC here 4 of last 5 years.

Yup, the new ball sealed this for me. Good to see ya.

Good to see you Sacker! Good luck this weekend...

Did a mixture of the fades and put a lil Cantlay 25-1 to win it for shits n giggles.

YES!!! welcome back, Sacker!!! :shake:

"The Matthew Mouse" Fitzpatrick 1st round leader after finishing with 6 under on his back side including birdies his last four holes for [-7] followed by eight more @ [-6] including Bryson DeChambeau and Sergio Garcia then nine more @ [-5] including Haotong Li, Lee Westwood and "The Poulter-geist"

my usual "mixed mess" in tourney match plays after the 1st round
Joost Luiten -110 [-2] over Thorbjorn Olesen [-3] 1 down
Tom Lewis +105 [-4] over Haotong Li [-5] 1 down
Matt Wallace +110 [-2] vs Thomas Pieters [even] 2 up
Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 [-7] vs Tyrrell Hatton [-3] 4 up
Rafael Cabrera-Bello even [+3] vs Henrik Stenson [-2] 5 down

Oh and NO Lewis Oosthuizen who was a pre-tourney withdraw for some reason. ANYONE know WHY ??? could find NO news on the Euro Tour web site

RCB's [+3] a nasty surprise. he was the Euro Tour web site pre-tourney favorite with "Ooster" their "Form Horse" and the Swede Alex Bjork their longshot :(

Rahm & Niemann & Beau T16 looking good after Rd1 on your team

tourney "to win" favorite Jon Rahm 1st round leader [-10] with Justin Rose and OWGR #700 Doug Ghim tied 2nd [-9], then the Chinese CT Pan solo 4th [-8] and Jordan Spieth solo 5th [-7]. freeking Spieth going to DROWN a LOT of tourney match plays including mine vs Noren

looks like I could easy have two or even three CUT losers after the 2nd round Friday. I am probably FUCKING FUCKED this week!!!
Xander Schauffele +105 [-3] over Jason Day [-5] 2 down
Sung Jae Im +105 [even] over Aaron Wise [+2] 2 up

I expected to be down after day 1 but not by 10+... Hoping to make the cut somehow. Good luck guys... South course is a beast

well going into the weekend in Dubai per-tourney favorite Bryson DeChambeau [-6] tied for the lead with Australian Lucas Herbert [-9] at tourney [-12] with Spaniard Alvaro Quiros [-8] and "legend" Ernie Els [-7] tied 3rd at [-11]. then five more tied 5th at [-10] including my man "WALL-E" Matt Wallace [-8] and the ChiCom Haotong Li [-5]. really anyone's tourney with 24 golfers within four shots of the leaders. the CUT came at [-3]

my tourney match plays pretty much a WRECK. already two CUT losers with Joost Luiten and Rafael Cabrera -Bello. the GOOD news is both "WALL-E" and "The Matthew Mouse" have decent leads over "Salt" Pieters and "Hot Head" Hatton
Joost Luiten -110 [even] for [-2] CUT over Thorbjorn Olesen [-5] for [-8] LOSE 6 down
Tom Lewis +105 [even] for [-4] over Haotong Li [-5] for [-10] 6 down
Matt Wallace +110 [-8] for [-10] vs Thomas Pieters [-1] for [-3] 7 up
Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 [-2] for [-9] vs Tyrrell Hatton [-2] for [-5] 4 up
Rafael Cabrera-Bello even [-4] for [-1] CUT vs Henrik Stenson [even] for [-2] CUT LOSE 1 down

Need Laird to birdie 3 of last 5 on the North Course to reach the weekend. Two par fives so there's a chance.

Guess Rose has the new sticks figured out

Ya. Justin Rose the 2nd round leader with a [-6] for tourney [-15] and Hideki Matsuyama showing life for the first time in awhile, solo 2nd [-6] for [-12]. then first round leader Jon Rahm [even], Billy Horschel [-4] and pre-tourney 80-1 Ryan Palmer [-5] tied 3rd [-10]. an interesting three tied 6th with OWGR #203 Joel Dahmen [-5] and Koreans OWGR #336 Sang-Moon Bae [-5] and Si Woo Kim [-4] at [-9]. Rory McIlroy [-7] and Adam Scott [-6] also showing life in the group of eight tied 9th at [-8]. the CUT came at [-3]

I guess I should feel lucky I did NOT get SKUNKED in my tourney match plays with one CUT win BUT two CUT loss and "X" vs Day "wicked close"
Xander Schauffele +105 [-2] for [-5] over Jason Day [-1] for [-6] 1 down
Sung Jae Im +105 [-4] for [-4] over Aaron Wise [-3] for [-1] CUT WIN 3 up
Alex Noren +110 [-4] for [even] CUT over Jordan Spieth [even] for [-7] LOSE 7 down
Patrick Cantlay even [-3] for [-1] CUT over Rickie Fowler [-6] for [-5] LOSE 4 down

This is like the old Torrey before renovations as far as scoring. Never saw that coming.

STILL Bryson DeChambeau with the lead going into Sunday [-4] for tourney [-16] one up on last years winner Haotong Li [-5] for [-15] then Ernie Els [-2] and Matt Wallace [-3] tied 3rd at [-13]. four more at [-12] including Fridays tied for the lead Lucas Herbert [even] and he is lucky to be there the way he played his front side Saturday [+3]. he took a REALLY stupid two shot penalty on the par five #3

two looking GOOD and one looking BAD in my remaining tourney match plays
Tom Lewis +105 [-1] for [-5] over Haotong Li [-5] for [-15] 10 down
Matt Wallace +110 [-3] for [-13] vs Thomas Pieters [-4] for [-7] 6 up
Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 [-2] for [-11] vs Tyrrell Hatton [-1] for [-6] 5 up

looks like Farmers is Justin Rose tourney to WIN. 3rd round leader [-3] for [-18] and a three shot lead over Adam Scott [-7] for [-15]. four over Jon Rahm [-4] for [-14] and five over young Asian-American OWGR #700 Doug Ghim who played in the Euro Tour last season [-5] for [-13] his best finish was tied 8th at Euro Masters in Crans-Montana, Switzerland [-9] after being tied 3rd end of the 3rd round [-10]

REALLY need "X" to shoot a round Sunday vs Day to get me a "putch" for my tourney match plays
Xander Schauffele +105 [-2] for [-7] over Jason Day [-3] for [-9] 2 down :(

stayed up and watched just an AMAZING display of his "scientific golf" by the winner Bryson DeChambeau with a final round [-8] for tourney record [-24] seven shots better than solo 2nd Matt Wallace [-4] for [-17] and 8 better than last years winner Haotong Li [+1] Ian Poulter [-8] and Sergio Garcia [-6] along with two others [-16]. Li had held the record with [-23] last year. note: the 2016 winner, Danny Willett and 2017 winner Sergio Garcia went on to WIN the Masters those seasons

I ended up 2-3 for my tourney match plays with the Joost Luiten and Rafael Cabrera-Bello CUT losses AND
Tom Lewis +105 [-2] for [-7] over Haotong Li [+1] for [-14] LOSE 7 down
Matt Wallace +110 [-4] for [-17] vs Thomas Pieters [-3] for [-10] WIN 7 up
Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 [-2] for [-13] vs Tyrrell Hatton [-3] for [-9] WIN 4 up

next week the inaugural Saudi International with Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and this week winner Bryson DeChambeau all playing. they MUST be getting HUGE appearance money to go play golf in a country where you can NOT even have a cold beer or cocktail after your round. Lee Westwood is also listed as playing. wonder IF his girl friend Helen will caddy for him next week ??? would be TOUGH having to pack his bag wearing a freeking "bee keeper suit" burka :(

Haha can't stand Doucheambeau

Curious how Rose plays next week in KSA that's a ton of time change

Couple final rounders:

Day over Finau -105 2.5*
Billy Ho over Rory +135 2*
Rahmbo over Rose -125 2.5*

like I said, Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau ALL gotta be getting BIG appearance money to go play in that Saudi shit hole. VERY surprised at the lineup for only a $3.5 million purse tourney with "Fat Pat" Reed, Segio Garcie, Henrik Stenson and Ian Poulter also listed. would THINK those players would want to play the $7.1million Phoenix Open PGA event instead
:confused3:

I got CLOBBERED this week. 2-3 in Dubhi and 1-3 at Torrey Pines
