I thought you swore off tournament match ups last week? Best of luck this week...

Ya I really should have with my last four weeks performance. I guess it is called "chasing". last week was a LOT of "bad beats". hopefully these work better

I thought you swore off tournament match ups last week? Best of luck this week...

well so far I am wishing I HAD just DUCKED this week after the 1st round:mad:

Tony Finau +115 [+4] vs Henrik Stenson [+3]
Thorbjorn Olesen +110 [+1] thru #17 over Phil Mickelson [+3]
Danny Willett +150 [+3] vs Chris Kirk [-2] thru #13
Ryan Fox +125 [-2] vs Austin Cook [-3]

long way to go Rat, I too need Finau to put up a really good score tomorrow

Ya you and me both. Tony Finau [+4] has to be the "nasty surprise of the day" along with Paul Casey [+5]

I am pretty sure Danny Willett is probably buried [+3] to [-2] for Chris Kirk. looks like the CUT could come at either [+1] or [even] on Friday. Thor Olesen came back to finish [even] vs Phil Michelson [+3] BUT I am taking nothing for granted. Tommy Fleetwood had a SEVEN shot lead on Brooks Koepka last week after the 2nd round and LOST

got some of my pre-tourney "cats & dogs" in contention. South African Brandon Stone @ 300-1 tied 3rd with Zack Johnson @ 80-1 [-4]. "The Poulter-geist" @ 100-1 and Austin Cook @ 250-1 [-3] with another six [-2] with "Rahmbo" @ 25-1, "The Mole" @ 33-1, Marc Leishman @ 60-1 along with "big dogs" Ryan Fox @ 200-1, Ross Fisher @ 250-1 and Mikko Korhonen @ 500-1

I guess we will see WHAT happens Friday

can NOT understand THESE two 2nd round match play lines. look like an "LMM" (line makers mistake) to me
Brandon Stone -110 over Whee Kim. Stone 1st round [-4] vs "Wee Wee" [+5] ???
Zack Johnson -110
over Paul Casey. same with ZJ and Casey 1st round [-4] vs [+5] ???

also looking at Thor Olesen even over Charl Schwartzel. BOTH [even] 1st round BUT Thor 4 birdies 2 bogies and a double vs "The Schwartz" 4 birdies 4 bogies. Thor also started slow @ Bridgestone with a 71 last week then shot a 67 while "The Schwartz" with 71 then 72

Justin Thomas [-1], Brooks Koepka [-1] and Rory McIlroy [even] ALL with adjusted "to win" odds 25-1 @ Westgate after 1st round. all can shoot "wicked low" when they get going and are NOT out of it by a long shot :)

I originally thought the same with Stone vs Kim and ZJ over Casey... Casey has been a slow starter this year and settled down pretty well after the fifth hole. Rumors of fighting his swing but who knows... Stone looks really solid but linesmakers are thinking perhaps the pressure gets to him being near the top... Whee is another that settled down nicely and finished pretty solidly.

Looking at Broadhurst over Daly and Fitz over Vegas... Daly was falling apart late in the round and Broadhurst has had a solid Champions season so far... Ive always thought Vegas would struggle in heat and humidity. Lots of pressure on him to make the cut and hang out to his tour card for next year...

Good luck if you decide to play

FUCK ME!!! I gotta be the "Eddie Mush" of golf match plays. go 1-2 on those three Friday plays with Stone [-2] vs Whee Kim [-3] and Olesen [-2] vs "The Schwartz" [-7] who climbs into tourney tied 4th [-7]. at least Casey "blew up" [+3] vs Zack Johnson [even]. I can NOT believe "Wee Wee" actually shot a round. the little bitch STILL missed the CUT at tourney [+2]

at least I had the good sense to chance an adjusted "to win" on Brooks Koepka 25-1 solo 3rd [-7] for tourney [-8] and and Kevin Kisner 50-1 solo 2nd [-7] for [-9]. problem IS Gary Woodland STILL playing well in the lead with [-4] for [-10] AND both Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler @ [-7] with "Rickie Tickie" still on the course thru #10 on a weather delay

shooting a 2nd round 8 birdie, 1 bogie [-7] to get to tied 4th, Charl Schwartzel now looks interesting with adjusted 40-1 "to win" odds. had a final round [-7] 62 last week @ Bridgestone. best recent finish tied 9th European Open [-7] in Germany. best PGA finish this season tied 2nd at Players [-14] back in May

well kinda LUCKED OUT with the CUTS. Thor Olesen [-2] for [even] over Phil Mickelson [even] for [+4] CUT and Tony Finau [-5] for [-1] over Henrik Stenson [-2] for [+2] CUT both WINNERS BUT Danny Willett [even] for [+4] CUT over Chris Kirk [-1] for [-3] LOSE

Koepka over Woods and Fox over Cook still "IN PLAY"

also BOTH Segio Garcia [+1] AND Phil Mickelson [+4] "to make the CUT?" NO props CASH :)

some "wicked high odds" final round match plays [3rd round/tourney scores]
Satoshi Kodaira +190 [-1/-2] vs Tommy Fleetwood -220 [-1/-2]
Mike Lorenzo-Vera +220 [even/-2] vs Rory McIlroy -260 [+1/-2]
Ben Kern +220 [-3/-3] vs Zack Johnson -260 [+1/-3]
Jason Kokrac +210 [+1/-4] vs Jordan Spieth -250 [-1/-4]
Chris Kirk +230 [-2/-4] vs Dustin Johnson -270 [+2/-5]
Shane Lowry +175 [-1/-8] vs Justin Thomas -200 [-2/-8]
Stewart Cink +180 [-4/-8] vs Jason Day -210 [-3/-8]

I think some "name players like Fleetwood, McIlroy, Spieth and Zack Johnson may be losing interest in playing. ONLY thing that saved Dustin Johnson's round from being a complete WRECK was his birdies on #15, #17 & #18 :thumbsdown8:

NAH they are just "of interest" to me. I usually get SPANKED with daily match play bets :nonofinger:

AND this is WHY I actually did NOT bet them:

Satoshi Kodaira +190 [-1/-2] vs Tommy Fleetwood -220 [-1/-2] [+2/-2] lose
Mike Lorenzo-Vera +220
[even/-2] vs Rory McIlroy -260 [+1/-2] [+3/even] lose
Ben Kern +220
[-3/-3] vs Zack Johnson -260 [+1/-3] [even/-4] lose
Jason Kokrac +210
[+1/-4] vs Jordan Spieth -250 [-1/-4] [-3/-4] lose
Chris Kirk +230
[-2/-4] vs Dustin Johnson -270 [+2/-5] [-1/-1] "putch"
Shane Lowry +175
[-1/-8] vs Justin Thomas -200 [-2/-8] [even/-2] lose
Stewart Cink +180
[-4/-8] vs Jason Day -210 [-3/-8] [-3/+1] WIN

WOULD have gone 1-1-5 :shitstorm:

I ended up with a pretty much break even tourney. went 4-1 in my tourney match plays and cashed an after 1st round Brooks Koepka "to win" 25-1 $20 to return $520 BUT had so many damn pre-tourney "cats & dogs" and final round "hedge bets" that was a actually a slight loss. the tourney match plays netted $173.55 while the Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson CUT wins made $115. was NICE to have a winning week of tourney match plays for once :)

Outstanding job...!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Thank You, Maximus BUT I MISSED some glorious chances with Brooks Koepka as the +180 DOG vs Dustin Johnson AND +150 vs Rory McIlroy. he was also the DOG in a four player "quad" bet @ Westgate +300 vs DJ, Rory and Justin Thomas :hang:
