My favorites (all with their own niche)...
www.activescores.com
(All major leagues and competitions...will show own goals, penalty kicks and shootout scores...will show reds...will show yellows in bigger leagues and competitions, i.e., Italy's Serie A, Spain's La Liga, France's Ligue 1, Germany's Bundesliga, England's Premiership...recently added Russia's Premier League on yellows...also has some hard-to-find leagues, such as some Eastern European leagues, i.e., Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus...and some other unique ones...Iceland, Peru, Uruguay, Wales, Israel, etc.)
www.xscores.com
(Same information as activescores...but won't show yellows in major leagues and competitions...however, they did experiment with it during the World Cup...also has their own niche of other unique, hard-to-find leagues...Singapore, Colombia, Cyprus, if I remember correctly Costa Rica, etc.)
www.goalzz.com
(A Middle-Eastern company that has tons of the hardest-to-find leagues out there...same info as activescores for the most part...their unique niche of leagues include most of the bigger ones out of Asia/Africa...Algeria, Australia, Bahrain, Cameroon, China, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Yemen.)
www.tbwsport.com
(A Slovenian company that also does a pretty good job...has a few more lower levels of European leagues...)
www.sportlivescore.com
(Comparable to activescores...)
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/scoreboard
(Don't be deceived by the big conglomerate...they actually have almost every score coming out of the Western Hemisphere...besides all of England's leagues and competitions, Italy's Serie A, Spain's La Liga, The Netherlands' Eredivisie, France's Ligue 1, Germany's Bundesliga and Scotland's Premier League...this is the only place I can find live scores from Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela and Paraguay...they also have Australia's top league as well as the world's top competitions and friendlies...the best part about using these guys is that for some of the top leagues and competitions they follow, i.e., Mexico's Primera Division, England's Premiership, England's Championship, Spain's La Liga, Argentina's Primera Division and some of the world's top competitions...ESPN has its Gamecast feature, offering a play-by-play of each the league's/competition's matches...)
The best part about the above live score sites is that they are constantly experimenting and improving their services...
Also, for you crazy soccer boys (like me), if you need a score in a league that no live score service follows...you can't go wrong with the best soccer news/info page in the world...
www.soccerway.com
The guys at this place have practically mastered what we need in terms of information... (it's sister-site also does a good job in international hockey...
www.hockeyway.com )
Also, side note...for some reason, Yahoo's Soccer page has a significant amount of news from all over the world...probably even more than soccerway...
