Been working yesterday and this morning to prepare for whats about to hit us later this afternoon. The amount of rain we are expected to get may take out a good portion of our community. Starting this evening we are supposed to get a steady downpour through Monday. I have already been notified that my electricity will most likely be out at some point in the next 36 hours and we need to be prepared to go 4-7 days without it. My property is on higher ground than most in my area so if I go down half of Louisiana will be in the Gulf of Mexico. I know most of you around the rest of the country have heard there is a storm coming but the amount of rain we are about to get nobody understands. These slow moving storms are more dangerous to our area than a CAT4 hurricane. There is most likely going to be a great deal of devastation in our area. Fortunately for my family I am an OCD son of bitch and I have more than enough animals in my freezer/food, water, gas, propane, alcohol, generators and ammunition to last us a month+. I also have stored battery power so when we do lose electricity my extracurricular activities wont be stopped (I will still be capping games in the dark w/ no AC). Sorry for the rant guys. I don't do it often but I had to vent somewhere...Back in a bit with a solid card for this afternoon and tonight....
