If you were going to use a combination of any 2 books this upcoming college football season, which 2 would you use and why?

Last year I exclusively used BOL mainly due to the early lines and the fact that they never give me hassle when I withdraw at the end of the season, but this year I am thinking about using 2 books like I used to do in the past. I have really only used 5 total throughout my entire "career" (Greek, Pinny, BM, BOL and 5D) even with all the changes in the industry, so I will be the first to admit that if there are others that are solid for US players outside of BM, BOL and 5D, I couldn't tell you much about em. Open to any and all suggestions along with rationale you may have. Thanks in advance!

are you just doing pre-game betting or do you do a lot of live also? also, what is your bet size and how often do you request payouts from pure profits?

  • I only do pre-game (usually same day as lines come out with some added plays on gameday prior to kickoff), as I typically don't get to watch the games while they are being played due to dad stuff
  • These days, a single unit is >2 but <5 (don't like to put exact numbers out there. but hopefully you get where I am going with those numbers)
  • Typically request only two payouts throughout the entirety of the cfb season:
    • One payout request when I hit a pre-determined profit objective (i.e. when account gets to 2x+1 vs initial deposit I will withdraw the 1x+1, and leave the initial deposit in the account which assures me of at least a profit of +1 in the event I completely wipe out the remaining funds which would consist of the original initial deposit).
    • The second payout request would come at the end of the season, and that would be whatever I have left in the account.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, thanks!

didn't mean to get too specific carolina, i just wanted to get a gauge of where you were at because i'd recommend different books for each style. imo, #1 would be BOL. i haven't found a book that offers the options they do, while never slapping limits on, no matter how much you are winning. i also think their payout system is the best is the business as well. i've had an account at every book rated A or higher at sportsbookreview except for galaxysports, and none of them are as good as BOL. i've heard pinnacle is really good but i never got an account there because they weren't accepting US clients. so, not knowing about pinnacle, my #2 for you would be BM if you use shitcoin. they also never hassle winners, and their 25% cash on every shitcoin deposit is an incredible investment. when i cash out my other accounts i actually send a chunk of it to BM to capture the 25% each time. if you don't use shitcoin, then i'd probably say youwager. their lines usually differ slightly from BOL and BM, so it might help you get cheaper lines, and they give sweet bonuses as well. also, they are the only book i've found that gives BLANK money orders up to $3,000 as a payout option. the freedom of filling out the money orders however you want is pretty amazing. you don't have to worry about foreign checks if you don't want to.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the insight! I have never had any issues with BOL or BM as both have never given me any hassles when it comes time to withdraw and I have always found them to be timely in terms of getting the funds to me without a problem. I am curious to hear more about youwager as I honestly have never heard of them as you can see the 5 I have used over the past 10 years. What makes them one I should consider in your opinion?

sorry hadn't logged on for weeks...youwager would only be for those reasons; if you want a book that has lines that aren't as sharp as BM's to save a few cents each time, they offer good bonuses, and because their payout options are great and quick (how can you beat blank money orders). if you use shitcoin though, BM is the way to go because of that huge 25% cash on each deposit.

Bet 365 if you can access it. Think states is banned.
If you can figure out a way to get an account. It’s the best.

Best in play

Have you had issues with being limited?
They limited one of my accounts after about 20 k in wins.

But overall they don’t seem to quick to limit my accounts.

limited me and every single person I know who opened an account with them. I know somebody who was notified his account was restricted after 2 bets, and neither of them had kicked off at the time.

They are pathetic and their license should be revoked in every jurisdiction they operate in

My experience too. If you bet into lines that are a half point off the rest of the market to get an advantage, they will limit you in a heartbeat. They know action bettors don't do that.

Thanks for all the comments guys as I really appreciate hearing all the various viewpoints. Right now I think I am leaning towards doing a split across BM and BOL depending on which way I decide to deposit. Probably won't do Bitcoin since I no longer have my old account so I would have to start over with the low weekly limits again and it just wouldn't make sense given the volatility to spend 8 weeks hitting the amount needed to increase that limit and then make remaining deposits from there as I am not confident the value would be consistent between starting point and end point.

Yes I agree.

I believe restricting and limiting accounts goes against fair gaming rules.

1- My reasoning is that they never limit losing accounts and only limit winning accounts.

This to me goes against the principles of what a gambling site stands for.
