OK... all these cryptos are shooting up like crazy. Anyone concerned or just excited?

Both concerned and excited. Things can't keep going up parabolic. At some point they'll fall back. But the good thing lately is after each pull back, the coins are still averaging upwards on trend.

This is crypto though. Regular stocks on meth. Anything can happen. Hope we don't overdose.

The crazy gains will do that. This is just so crazy. ADA, XEM, TRX, VEN, XRP, STEEM, NEO, and a bunch more going ham. The alt coins are just killing it.

We have ADA, TRX and XRP as well as ETH. Sold our LTC today to buy XLM. Is there something else we should be looking at?

Awesome with those bold ones. Depending on when you got them, you've probably seen some 200-300% gains just in the last week. I know TRX was .03 a few days ago and was .12 a couple hours ago. ADA and XRP nice returns too in the last few weeks. And ETH is slow and steady. ETH is my favorite. It's where I got my start. Blockfolio is down and it's killing me lol.

Yeah the slow bleed from LTC has been frustrating. I'm trying to stay patient but it's starting to get annoying. I can't complain really as I'm up pretty big from it but seeing some of these alts moon wishes I bought some with my LTC.

As far as Monero, I'm not sure. If you really like privacy this is the coin they say. My friend at work endorses it but I haven't bought any.

At 630 this morning BTC broke into 10k territory. A little rebound. Cryptos are not backed by assets or full faith and credit. Techno narcissism.

breaking below the big support around 12,000 is a major red flag. could be in free fall mode here for a while.

Bitconnect was a big time scam. Ponzi scheme 101.

Speaking of bitconnect being a scam. I cringed when this clown came on stage for this. If anybody invested in bitconnect with this loser speaking like this, you deserve to lose your money.

Quinn Michaels is one of my heroes. I have learned so much about advanced technology from him. He is pretty convinced that there is no Satoshi and that bitcoin is in fact AI. If I hadnt been aware of AI I would have had a hard time even understanding its application hereI would like you to watch video. It starts after about a minute and there are some herky jerkyness to it but listen to Quinn and tell me what you think.

They're right about a few things. Everything does seem to do the same thing, either go up, or down. And they also mention it's easily manipulated. And I think they're right. Whales out there can do that.

As far as Satoshi goes, that's a big mystery I wish I knew who it was. I don't know too much about AI to really comment on its relationship to bitcoin. But it is kinda crazy to see the whole world using bitcoin where the inventor doesn't even show himself, or claim his product. Other cryptos, such as Ethereum have Vitalik Buterin leading the way. Litecoin has Charlie Lee. If this is a scam, I've protected myself by taking out my initial money, times 3. So if this all went to zero, I will have tripled my money.

But I still got a nice stash in the game, but I'm mostly invested in the big boys with working products. All these alt coins where some have no product will eventually fizzle out and become shit. That's just my opinion. But blockchain technology is going to change the world. More and more companies are going to get on board as we've seen some do lately. The Ethereum blockchain is where it's at IMO. It's currently proof of work through mining. Casper is the brains behind proof of stake (POS) which is being tested at the moment. The date isn't set but supposedly it'll be sometime in 2019 that POS will take over. So the future of Ethereum is bright, IMO.

In the end, there will only be a handful of crypto that succeed IMO. All those other alt coins will be like penny stocks and fade away.

Here are the people some think are "Satoshi Nakamoto". I don't think Elon Musk or Charlie Lee are, but the other guys maybe. Like a good mystery, no one will ever know for sure.

Disneyland, Ferrari and Apple headquarters all built on top of colliders like in CERN, Switzerland. Google maps. Neutrinos underground being spun and literally outside .00001 percent of population is oblivious.

Update: A massive ($110 million) transfer from Coincheck's Ripple wallet has sparked speculation that the exchange may have been hacked...though this apparently hasn't impacted prices yet...

The biggest hacker gang on the planet earth (30,000 + just at HQ) and their gangland contractor buddies (0.25 mil?) are the US-NSA Gangsters.

    On that note..........

Want to keep your Bitcoin......YOURS? ...... You may want to consider this:

A 'Jim Stone Special' Linux OS on a Flash Drive. Jim is a former NSA dude who knows what those NSA (Nefarious Spying Assholes) are constantly up to!

(Plus it helps support Stone and helps keeping his great inside intel coming at us.)

I won't swear with 100% certainty that a 'booty-able flash drive' will overcome and seal off the Intel built-in backdoor BUT it is a damn sight better than Window$ (Version - Anything) at securing your Crypto Wallet.

Remember time, connection speed and processor cycles are your security nemesis.

You may want to consider using a Linux OS flash drive for JUST your crypto wallet. ...... Lightening In-and-Out ©, just like going to the bank ATM. .. The less time you spend loitering around the ATM with cash in your hand the less chance you have being mugged and robbed.

Obscure your file names, password protect your directories and make a hacker bot crawler jump through multiple hoops getting to your little vault of Bitcoin.

Its complicated cause I perceive it to presently be a battle of conventional central banks vs. Peter Thiel/Palantir/ AI types. Zuck would be in AI group as facebook is a node for it.

Please watch post 228 when you have a moment. You are very bright. Quantum physics, neutrino energy and artifical intelligence are around us in ways that are hard to understand. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Ya, should have own thread, just educates people on fundamental things related to artifical intelligence, bitcoin, and your life yadayafa .Quite honestly most people are like you and dont have time such such random things. All I can is say is that I dont post stuff that aint worth your time. Most people dont have a clue about bitcoin and wanna talk about price, just sharing some all time type information.

There are many bitcoin threads. This is as good spot as any this info.
