Yeah Schevchenko didn't do enough. Pretty much the same shit every round.

UFC 216 this Saturday. I'm gonna put a small bet on Kevin Lee at +175. Ferguson is on a 9 fight winning streak but I think he may be underestimating Lee. Lee by way of a rear-naked choke. Also really surprised Mighty Mouse isn't the headliner for this card. The pound for pound best fighter in the UFC on a record win streak. Maybe they're too small to draw crowds.

Why is this PPV? Who the hell is gonna buy that during CFB season and MLB playoffs?

Should be on FS1 or something

I disagree. This is a pretty good card. But if you don't like this one, I think you'll like UFC 217. So far it's got Bisping vs GSP. Garbrandt vs Dillashaw. Wonder boy fighting Masvidal. And Joanna Jedzerjck (sp).

Also the number one pound for pound fighter according to their UFC rankings is on this card. Demetrius Johnson. I think he's slept on though because he's not a loud mouth fighter like some of these other dudes. He's quiet and just takes care of business. I think he snaps Anderson Silva's longest win fight streak if he wins also.

But agree with you. During CFB and MLB playoffs you'll have plenty of other stuff to watch if you're not interested in this fight.

I'm thinking from a biz perspective, how many buys will this truly generate? Use it as a promotional card.

I prefer this honestly, more action from the smaller guys...don't really enjoy heavyweight fights. Should be plenty of action and Mighty Mouse is one of my faves

Unbelievable finish by Mighty Mouse. He picked up Borg, lifted him up, and as he was slamming him to the mat turned it into an arm bar for the finish. All in one motion. Fucking sweet. That's why he's P4P the best fighter.

When you get a chance check out the replay.

JFC Kevin Lee. Leading on the scorecards than loses to a triangle choke. Damn. Shoulda won. He'll learn from this. Got a great career ahead of him. Only 25 years old.

Congrats to Ferguson. 10 fight win streak. Conor can't avoid him forever.

I have a hard time saying he's the best p4p fighter. Go beat TJ or beat Cruz (who already has beaten him). The reason he gets no press is because he beats guys no one has heard of. I' dont think anyone on here had seen more than 1 of Borg's fights, if that. I think he was ranked about 5th or 6th in the division.

You think Conor is worried about him? Only person I think he was avoiding was Khabib. He beats Tony in under 1 round. I haven't seen the fight but it sounds like Lee gassed. He's too big for 155 and probably shouldnt be cutting the weight.

Just watched the fight. The 'shoulda won comment' is crazy. He won the first round, third round was close. He was completely gassed after the take down in round 3. At no point during the fight did I think Lee had a chance to finish the fight or did any damage.

No I don't think Conor is worried. And if you've read this thread, I've said it time and time again he wants no part of Khabib. But Khabib needs to help himself by getting in the ring more than once every two years. Make weight and fight. It's that simple.

Agree with you though about the weight cut for Lee. That was too much. And that staph infection noticibly on his chest didn't help.

I wanna hit GSP but the long long layoff is worrisome. If he can do his usual get you to the ground, and pound, it won't even be close.

Darren Till vs Cowboy Cerrone on fight night coming up this weekend. Free event. Worth watching the main event at least.

They're fighting in Poland btw so weird start time.

    broken nose too.

Cowboy won't be around much longer with how he is collecting losses recently - that's 3 in a row. dude hit his peak and is on the downside of his career now.
