Haven't been as active in MLB since the ASB because i'm following the attitude of the players themselves.... complete ineptitude and the guys are still in vacation mode

think it turns around the next couple days

Haven't looked at MLB in some time but I believe I saw it was going to be ridiculously hot in middle of America today and I have no clue how that affects run scoring

With temps and humidity in the Midwest I wouldn't even tend to go outside...think I saw heat index of 114 in Minny today? lol

Pierzynski has caught last 3 days so Foltynewicz is getting Flowers. 18.2 innings 6.75 ERA. This is a bad spot as he likes 5 days rest and the day and is getting none of the above

Liriano with Davis .87 ERA 20.2 innings
Garza with Davis 9.98 ERA 15.1innings

Aj caught yesterday but not the prior two. Recker started the previous two.

Tuck, what numbers do you have for liriano with cervelli? Curious if his struggles can be attributed to not having him for most of the year

I see 4.43 ERA based on 40.2 innings. Not good but better than any of the other catchers.

This is what I saw with Pier

Bump. Samarja fading and was never good in the AL. How is he without Buster who is ??

Giants lineup very human without Posey, Pence, and young 2b whose name I'm forgetting.

Jose F very average last few starts but continues to be dominant at home.

Under looks good there...

Long time, no see boys!

Just dropping in to offer you all possible play. According to my numbers, since July 9, three teams with calculated run differentials >5 (from my handicapping) have won by 2 runs or greater. They are:

July 15 Detroit beat KC 4-2, Detroit run differential = 6.2
July 16 KC beat Detroit 8-4, KC run differential = 5.33
July 21 Miami beat Philly 9-3, Miami run differential = 5.6

Today, I have calculated a run differential of 5.6 for San Francisco.

I'll be on the Giants ML & Alternate RL today! I do not recommend backing the Yanks today but good luck in what you decide!

:Cheers2:<strike></strike>

Early lean to Nova
This is based on Nova on best rest
Cueto 1-3 away with ump.
Cueto just not sharp and SF finding ways to lose
Nova great game vs SF

Somewhat daunting. Any more details on how you estimated this?

I just noticed Scherzer has an 8 ERA with Hallion based on 27 innings
Jackson 4.08 based on 39.2

Just using days rest Jose wins
Jose on 4 6-1 1.53 ERA
DeGrom on 5 2.19 based on 37 but that is no claim but Jose also has a small lead at night

the yanks broadcast just said Bochy intended to use Cueto today but there was an error reporting the SPs to the PR department lol

Played Boston RL
Price mediocre with ref
Ref huge homer ref last year 23-8
This year 11-3 Good day of week for Boston and Nolasco at site 10.80 ERA
Not seeing a lot of good hitters vs him but
6.21 night ERA and on 4 5.36 ERA

Well crud. I didn't get the RL with the Giants but I'll take win. I'll post again the next time I get another like that.

Later fellas!
:tiphat:

Reds look like a decent play today....

The differential I calculated is 3.2 runs in favor of the DBacks. However, ML dogs with run differentials of 3-4 runs have a 1-2 record since July 9. Furthermore, the home team in games involving run differentials of 3-4 is 7 wins vs. 2 losses since July 9. While not as strong a play as the Giants yesterday, the Reds have a little mojo behind them today. I put 3 units on them FWIW.

Good luck today gentlemen!

:fingerscrossed:

DBacks catching a lot of bad breaks lately and opposite true for the Reds. Hoping that reverses today - Zona looks like a good play to me

Chase Anderson on 4
1-6 ERA of 7.23 so I am considering a small bet on Arizona first 5
This also might be considered for Philadelphia with Hellickson on best rest.
With a good ref I might actually consider Arizona for game. I just readthis
ARIZONA is 10-3 (+10.5 Units) against the money line in road games when playing on Monday over the last 2 seasons.
But considering their current form I doubt it

Diamondbacks pitching prospect Braden Shipley will be called up to make his major league debut Monday in Milwaukee.
Shipley will be filling in for Zack Greinke, who remains sidelined with an oblique injury. The former first-round draft pick (15th overall in 2013) has registered a 3.70 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 77/22 K/BB ratio in 119 1/3 innings this season at Triple-A Reno. It's not clear whether he'll get another turn after Monday. Jul 23 - 7:15 PM
